  • Senior Technical Representative

    Magnus is actively seeking for a technical sales representative to maintain and grow sales of its products and services.

    Under the responsibility of the Sales Manager, the candidate carries out the sales and promotion of Magnus' products and services and ensures the development of new customers and retaining existing customers in the Estrie and the Montérégie region.

    Summary of responsabilities

    • Ensuring consistent service and quality technical support to customers.

    • Achieve and exceed company's sales objectives.

    • Research and develop potential new customers in the territory.

    • Manage and coordinate contracts, tenders, requests and all activities related to sales and the relationship with the customer.

    • Ensure the performance of customers' water treatment programs.

    • Bachelor in Business Administration, Chemistry, or equivalent.

    • Minimum of six (6) years experience in selling water treatment products and services for medium and large industries.

    • Ideally, the candidate will have experience with high pressure boilers and more specific with cogeneration and with pulp and paper mills.
    • Business savy, focus on results and group performance.

    • Knowledge of chemical analysis techniques (an asset).

    • Working knowledge of sales techniques (an asset).

    • Fluency in French. English Intermediate professional. Spoken and written.

    • Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office platform.

    • Ability to travel on a regular basis.

  • Technical Sales Representative - Water Treatment - GTA (ON)

    Magnus, located in Boucherville, with an office in Pickering, is currently looking to hire a Technical Sales Representative for the Greater Toronto Area . This individual will report directly to the Area Sales Manager and will establish, maintain, and develop connections with existing clients as well as actively participate in the development of the company by soliciting target clients. The ideal candidate will be customer service driven, develop a new client base, and be highly interested in the different chemical applications available in our industry.


    Summary of responsabilities

    Current Clients: Service and Support (40%)

    • In collaboration with our team of experts, develop and maintain lasting connections with various existing client representatives by providing support and solutions.
    • Increase business opportunities by showing a desire to improve customer service processes.
    • Evaluate and constantly reassess customer needs and offer innovative solutions adapted to their specific requirements and/or projects.
    • Offer quality support to accounts for which he or she is responsible, respond to demands, find solutions, and, if needed, help with physical tests and develop solutions in conjunction with the company’s laboratory.

    Business Development (40%)

    • Proactively target potential clients and solicit them in person, by phone, and/or via social media in his or her own physical territory.

    • Intermediate knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Have a valid drivers licence.

    Sous la responsabilité du Superviseur du département de service, le titulaire du poste effectue en clientèle les analyses des systèmes d’eau et de glycol, la vérification des équipements de traitement d'eau et s'assure de la satisfaction de la clientèle, pour le territoire Centre du Québec.

    Summary of responsabilities

    • Coordination de sa cédule de visite de service et optimisation des déplacements
    • Visites des clients et vérification des installations mécaniques
    • Prélèvement et analyse d’eau sur les sites
