  • Technical Representative - Industrial Group

  • Technical representative – Industrial division - Western region of Quebec

    Magnus, located in Boucherville, is currently looking to hire a Technical Representative for the West of Quebec region. The Technical Representative will report directly to the Sales Manager and will establish, maintain, and develop connections with existing clients as well as actively participate in the development of the company by soliciting target clients. The ideal candidate will be customer service driven, develop a new client base, and be highly interested in the different chemical and mechanical applications available to the industrial sector. The candidate’s strong ability to develop qualified leads using different web platforms will make him or her the leader/consultant of the industrial division.

    Summary of responsabilities

    Current Clients: Service and Support

    • In collaboration with our team of experts, develop and maintain lasting connections with various existing client representatives by providing support and solutions.
    • Increase business opportunities by showing a desire to improve customer service processes.
    • Evaluate and constantly reassess customer needs and offer innovative solutions adapted to their specific requirements and/or projects.
    • Offer quality support to accounts for which he or she is responsibility, respond to demands, find solutions, and, if needed, help with physical tests and develop solutions with the company’s laboratory.

    Business Development

    • Proactively target potential clients and solicit them in person, by phone, and/or via social media in his or her own physical territory and throughout the world.
    • Promote business development by finding new prospects with target volume potential.
    • Actively contribute to the sales strategy, evaluate needs, find solutions, follow-up on ongoing cases, and prepare proposals as well as presentations for clients.

    Other Responsibilities

    • Follow OSH and ISO rules and regulations at all times.
    • Complete urgent and unexpected tasks on-call and/or outside of regular business hours.
    • Perform all other related tasks.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry, or equivalent studies.
    • 3-5 years of experience in an industrial setting.
    • 3-5 years of experience in business development.
    • Experience selling specialized products in a related field (asset).
    • Proficiency in both French and English (written and spoken).
    • Intermediate knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Have a valid drivers licence.
    • Be in good physical condition: be able to lift, move, push, and pull objects between 20 and 33 kg.
    • Excellent aptitude for developing and maintaining business relations.
    • Ability to work in a team towards common objectives.
    • Strong ability to seize business opportunities.
    • Marketing approach.
    • Communicator, motivated, proactive, and persevering.
    • Proven ability to find solutions
    • Professionalism and integrity.

    The chosen candidate could, on occasion, be required to travel 48-72 hours.

  • Technical Sales Representative - Water Treatment - GTA (ON)

    Magnus, located in Boucherville, with an office in Pickering, is currently looking to hire a Technical Sales Representative for the Greater Toronto Area . This individual will report directly to the Area Sales Manager and will establish, maintain, and develop connections with existing clients as well as actively participate in the development of the company by soliciting target clients. The ideal candidate will be customer service driven, develop a new client base, and be highly interested in the different chemical applications available in our industry.

     

    Summary of responsabilities

    Current Clients: Service and Support (40%)

    • In collaboration with our team of experts, develop and maintain lasting connections with various existing client representatives by providing support and solutions.
    • Increase business opportunities by showing a desire to improve customer service processes.
    • Evaluate and constantly reassess customer needs and offer innovative solutions adapted to their specific requirements and/or projects.
    • Offer quality support to accounts for which he or she is responsible, respond to demands, find solutions, and, if needed, help with physical tests and develop solutions in conjunction with the company’s laboratory.

    Business Development (40%)

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, or equivalent studies.
    • 3-5 years of experience of experience in Technical Sales.
    • 3-5 years of experience in Business Development.
    • Experience selling specialized products in a related field (asset).
    • Proficiency in English (written and spoken). French an asset.

  • Technicien de service sur la route - Analyse de l'eau - Rive Nord de Montréal

    Sous la responsabilité du Superviseur du département de service, le titulaire du poste effectue en clientèle les analyses des systèmes d’eau et de glycol, la vérification des équipements de traitement d'eau et s'assure de la satisfaction de la clientèle.

    Summary of responsabilities

    • Assister les représentants de ventes dans le maintien de la satisfaction de la clientèle
    • Coordination de sa cédule de visite de service et optimisation des déplacements
    • Visites des clients et vérification des installations mécaniques
    • Prélèvement et analyse d’eau sur les sites
    • Identification des besoins et demandes d’analyses d’eau en laboratoire
    • Effectuer dosage de produits chimiques
    • Inspection de l’équipement du client (chaudières, tours d’eau, etc.);
    • Optimisation des techniques de traitement appliquées
    • Vérification des inventaires en produits chimiques et au besoin, informer le représentant des ventes
    • Évaluation des besoins en équipement et identification d’opportunité de vente de service et d’équipement
    • Au besoin, effectuer la formation du personnel d’opération des clients
    • Maintien d’une relation d’affaire cordiale
    • Participer à la pré-mise en marche et mise en marche des nouveaux projets en collaboration avec le représentant
    • Réparation de petits équipements et remplacement de pièces de base
    • Remise des rapports (visite, recommandations et dépenses) et mise à jour des dossiers électroniques clients
    • Maintenir en ordre et propre le véhicule de service de la compagnie
    • Assurer la relève d’un ou plusieurs collègues de l’équipe lors de congés
    • Appliquer les règles SST et ISO en tout temps
    • Accomplir des tâches imprévues et urgentes

    Requirements

    • Détenir un DEC en chimie ou traitement de l’eau ou l’équivalent
    • Posséder de 0-2 années d’expérience dans un poste similaire
    • Posséder un permis de conduite valide
    • Être en bonne condition physique. En mesure de soulever, déplacer, tirer, pousser des poids entre de 20 à 33 Kg
    • Maîtrise du niveau de base des logiciels de la suite Microsoft Office
    • Bonne maîtrise du français et de l’anglais (oral et écrit)
    • Expérience pertinente en service en clientèle
    • Capacité à effectuer des déplacements fréquents et travailler à l’extérieur plus d’une journée
    • Atout - Connaissance des procédés de chauffage et de climatisation : commercial, institutionnel et industriel (CVAC/HVAC)
    • Atout - Connaissance du lavage à l’acide de système à vapeur, refroidisseur, échangeur à plaques ou tubulaire et tour de refroidissement
    • Atout - Connaissance du rétablissement des concentrations de glycols dans les réseaux appropriés
    • Atout - Connaissance de la désinfection de réseaux de tours ou réseaux fermés
    • Atout - Connaissance du nettoyage de réseaux existants ou nouveaux
    • Bonnes dextérité et habiletés manuelles, bonnes acuités visuelle et auditive, sens des responsabilités, sens de l’observation, esprit d’analyse et méthodique, être orienté vers le client, avoir le souci du détail et de la précision, savoir gérer les priorités et son stress, être débrouillard et autonome, être organisé et rigoureux, être doué pour la communication interpersonnelle et le travail d’équipe.
